Meeting Time:  As needed.

Board Members: 5 members appointed by the Mayor.  Each member shall be a licensed professional engineer or architect, or a builder or superintendent of building construction, with at least ten years experience, for five years of which that Board member shall have been in responsible charge of work; and three shall not be more than two members of the Board selected from the same profession or business; and at least one of the professional engineers shall be a licensed structural or civil engineer of architectural engineering experience. Each member shall have been a resident of the jurisdiction for at least one year prior to appointment. 

Any person affected by any notice which has been issued in connection with the enforcement of any provision of the building code, or of any rule or regulation adopted pursuant thereto, shall have the right to request and shall be granted a hearing on the matter before the Board; provided that such person shall file, in the office of the Board a written petition requesting such hearing, containing a statement of the grounds therefore within twenty days after the day the notice was served.  Such petition shall be accompanied by a one hundred dollars ($100.00) filing fee.
