The Mission of the City of Martinsburg Police and Fire Explorer Post 27 is to educate and guide young men and women who are interested in a career in Law Enforcement or Fire and EMS. The Post will provide these men and women with a better understanding of what it means to be a Police Officer and a Firefighter/EMT and help them explorer new ways to serve the Community.

How to Join

The City of Martinsburg Police and Fire Explorer Post 27 is open to young men and women between the ages of 14-20 who have completed the eighth grade and who have a minimum GPA of 2.0. Applications can be obtained by visiting the Martinsburg City Police Department or the Martinsburg Fire Department and requesting an application. Once the application is complete simply return it to the Police or Fire Department and one of the Post Advisors will contact you upon reviewing your application.
